Las Vegas MGM MIRAGE (NYSE: MGM) - New York-New York Hotel & Casino wants you to help choose ‘Vinny’ - the ultimate guest go-to guy for all things New York-New York. Weeks of interviews have narrowed down the competition and now New York-New York needs your vote, as two final candidates vie for the title in a series of challenges, October 20 through November 12, 2009.

“Vinny is real, a little irreverent and quite fun. He is a hands-on host with all the answers; served up with true New York attitude,” said Cynthia Kiser Murphey, president and COO of New York-New York. “Vinny brings our brand to life and enhances the exceptional customer service our employees are well known for.”

Months of searching Las Vegas for the quintessential ‘Vinny’ lead to two final candidates. Now the duo will battle until the end in over-the-top contests at various locations throughout New York-New York to determine which one can best walk the New York-walk and talk the New York-talk. The winning ‘Vinny’ will be an easily accessible information source on-hand to tell guests where to go, what to do, what’s hot and what’s not, in a totally honest, no-apologies New York kind of way.

Points awarded during competitions and fan votes will determine the ultimate winner. No matter where you are, you can watch all of the fiercely fun challenges and vote for your favorite Vinny on the New York-New York Web site or on the Vinny vs. Vinny Facebook page. Appropriately colored ballot boxes will be placed inside New York-New York so lucky guests who get to catch the action first-hand can vote on the spot.
